PRODUCTS THAT CANNOT BE RETURNED OR EXCHANGED IN MOST CASES

The following devices cannot be returned or exchanged in most cases, so please be sure to select the right brand, color, and size before placing your order:

  • MACE or pepper sprays

These items can only be exchanged for the exact same product, but only if we find the product was damaged upon shipment to the customer (please refer to the “RETURN CONDITIONS” section, below). RETURN CONDITIONS

To be considered for a return, both the product and the packaging must be:

  • In it’s original excellent condition.
  • Unopened.
  • Ready to go back to the shelf.

If these conditions are not met, please do not apply for a return, as it will not be considered. The exception to these rules are the “damaged-upon-shipment” products, but even these must comply with the “unopened” condition.

MERCHANDISE RETURN INSTRUCTIONS

If the return conditions are met, please contact us immediately at info@protectionnation.com (to get a Return Merchandize Authorization number (RMA#) and shipping instructions) before you send the product back to us. No refunds will be given without the explicit permission from ProtectionNation.com.

The item(s) must be returned (postmarked) within 30 days from the date of the receipt of the product. The customer is responsible for the cost to ship the product back to us (for your protection, please ship with tracking information and insurance via UPS ground). Include a note specifying the product returned and the reason you are returning it, along with your name, daytime telephone number, e-mail address, order number, and order date.

RETURNED MERCHANDISE: EVALUATION & DECISION

Once the product is received by us, we will examine it to determine whether it complies or not with the aforementioned conditions, and then we will process your request according to our findings. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking charge. Please take into account that shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. You will be charged our standard shipping cost to have the exchanged item shipped back to you.

ProtectionNation.com will replace, refund or credit your account at our discretion. If the refund involves a free shipping product, the cost that ProtectionNation.com initially assumed on that shipping will be deducted from your refunded money.

DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS: RETURN CONDITIONS

Most defective items will be replaced or repaired (at our discretion), as long as the following conditions are met (please take into account that all stun guns and stun batons must use Energizer batteries: other batteries may not work):

  • The item is in its original packaging.
  • All parts, accessories and accompanying literature are included.
  • The item does not show any signs of misuse or abuse.
  • The product has not been disassembled (this would void any warranty and refund privilege).
  • The item is really defective.
  • The 30 days return period (which begins after the day of the invoice) has not expired.

We cannot stress enough the importance of testing the product before considering sending it back to us: some items that were sent back as defective worked just fine (for instance, take into account that all stun guns and stun batons must use Energizer batteries: other batteries may not work). The customer will have to pay return shipping charges plus 25% restocking fee for the return of non-defective items.

If these conditions are not met, please do not apply for a replacement, as it will not be considered.
